The boat to New Zealand has finally reached it, well a small island that is part of it. The boat ran aground on the rocky coast of Raoul Island. The island is uninhabited and has a lush rainforest. The oarsmen decided to make an outpost there. The crew, consisting of 120 people from all of the islands the boat came across, consisting of both men and women, settled on it. The outpost was named "Little Oahu".

The R.M.R denies the silly rumors of them trying to support a Coup in Pittsburg Region, for we are just a mercenary group, nothing more nothing less.

OOC: Just to let you know guys, the reason why I'm not responding much is because I'm playing as a tribal republic. I don't have radios so I can't respond to your messages besides sending emmisaries to you.

The boat from the trade mission came back and told us that we got a trade agreement with the Vancouver regiments. They also got some nice coats, but they won't have much use in Hawaii.

A boat from the New Zealand mission came back and told us about all the other tribes and islands that joined us.

Meh, might as well let my imagination run wild for a bit, even if this thread is for the most part, dead.

    Faction: Cuban Peoples Federation (CPF)
    Location: Centered around post-nuclear Havana
Faction size: Small, but the largest faction among post-nuclear Cuban survivors.

The reason for survival in Cuba, is that it was not mainly targeted by the US when the bombs fell, and those that the US launched at Cuba were aimed at the main population centers, i.e.: Havana, Santiago, Guantanamo, etc. The areas not affected by radiation quickly collapsed through anarchy, starvation, and widespread disease. Those that remained formed small bands that roamed the island searching for small caches of food, and constantly clashing with each other. When one group, the pre-CPF, then known as Castro's Remnants', took a risk, and entered Havana, their geiger counters showed that their was minimal radiation Havana, not enough to kill them, and in some places, there was no radiation. In about 3 months, their group size doubled, as other survivors immigrated in, and electricity was restored as well as farms being built to feed the new population. Many rifles, machine guns, sidearms and other sorts of weapons were also discovered, giving the new CPF an immediate advantage over hostile groups in the local area. Within 6 months, the west coast of Cuba was under CPF control, with their eastern border being centered around the Escambray Mountains. The population is pitiful compared to pre-war Cuba, with a population of 47,362 in the CPF. The national government was dictated under the standards of Fidel Castro, and during the 4th month of occupation in the CPF, a book known as The Communist Manifesto was discovered, and it was quickly proclaimed the national book in which the government and people live by. The current leader, Supreme Leader Raul Corda, has led us skillfully, in maintaing a balance of power in Cuba, not to fully occupy it and spread the population thin, with possible rebellions.
A majority of the CPF population is farmers, with 73% being farmers. The next largest amount of people is in the army, and includes infantry, reconnaissance, scavengers, and cavalry. The cavalry primarily use mutated horses, that run at twice the speed of pre war horses, and are about 3 times tougher. the army accounts for 20% of the population. The smallest social class is the industry workers, who produce textiles, guns, and machines and contraptions, and account for only 7% of the population.
Technology in the CPF is lacking in boats and such. While there are fishermen, their boats are to dangerous to be used as actual transports, which is why Supreme Leader Raul Corda has put heavy emphasis on boat technology, as well as medicine, since radiation is still a problem within the CPF. Today brought some good, and bad news.

Today, there was a major breakthrough in the boats, when some were found when scavengers were searching through an unoccupied strip of land in South-Western Cuba. While there are pieces missing, the scientists are already putting it to good use. However, tensions have quickly risen throughout Eastern Cuba. Spy networks have sent an encrypted message that detailed a possible coup of the puppet states, and a massive push from the East. Supreme Leader Raul was shocked that such treachery may even be possible, and in a fit of rage, had the messenger executed. When the Supreme Leader calmed down, he decided that it would be best to wait, and see if such a coup existed, knowing that one of its members could betray the others and come to him with the information. WAIT! A major breakthrough has just occurred in sailing technology! A working boat was being secretly tested, and continuously floated for over 3 hours, and still is. Immediate plans for trade convoys are being drawn up, so as to utilize it to the fullest.

There, all done. My imagination was let loose.
