I don't feel like spending money on both and they both look extremely fun. I've heard good reviews about CK2, but I loved RUSE and Eugen made Wargame and it looks spectacular. So what should I get?
That's what is keeping me in the middle. I love the simulators they are very fun, but RTS are more intense and I like that. There are just minor things that keep me from leaning to one side, I suck at Grand Strategies and RTS have a repetitive feel to it after awhile.
I've grown to dislike Paradox because of their awful multiplayer system. It's easier to play with friends when you all have a alternatively acquired copy.
I shouldn't have to jump through all those hoops though, and when I tried it in Vicky 2, it was just awful. Not to mention that they cling to the awful checksum system, which prevents me from playing with any of my friends from different regions or retailers.
I've decided to get Wargame, once I get the money to buy CK2 I will quickly buy it. The final decision came down to the part about me sucking at Grand Strategies.
I think they fixed it with CK2, because it has been working fine for me, although i do agree on the checksum system.
