What's EAs motto again? "EA shit on everything"? No? Well it should be! Fuckers destroyed Westwood studios and turned Red Alert into shit.
I dont like RPG's but would you recommend me ME3? Buying Skyrim wasted 60$ i could of put towards other games, it was too much of an RPG, it is litterally building dust at the bottom of my games drawer. Would you recommend ME3 to someone who does not like RPG's?
It has a combo of action and rpg elements. First game was pretty much RPG so action was lacking. Second improved on action and RPG was made more accessible to shooter fans. Mass effect 3 will probably be a better blend of both.
Well considering I paid 80$ for the Sims 3 and Mafia 2 collector's editions I have no idea why it matters you get really awesome stuff for it and I personally think it's well worth it. I would also like to know why can't you just pirate DLC?
Play the demo. It may be a limited experience of what the game really is, but it might give you a nice impression of how the it feels. But personally, I sugest you to play AT LEAST the second game. Story is a major factor on ME games and having a save file imported from ME1 to ME2 and then from ME2 to ME3 would get you some critial information on the game universe, and you'll feel more connected to your character. And I say at least the second because you might not enjoy the first one. It's more RPG oriented and may be a little boring if you're not into it. Of course you can, there's aways a way... Yeah, I thought that as a way to do it, haha At least it might be easier to sleep at night knowing you paid for it... part of it... er...
Personally speaking, ME 1 was just OK. Looking back, I think that, while they made some improvements, Bioware left alot to be desired. I'm not really talking about the features that some people really hated, like the elevators [which were only a minor nucience in the game] or the land-rover [whose presence as a vehicle in an RPG was actually rather refreshing to me]. I am comparing it to the KOTOR series and looking at how the KOTOR series had clear influences on the development of the game. Specifically, the glaring similarities between elements of the game's species that make me surprised that Lucas Arts didn't file a lawsuit.
That's because BioWare developed KOTOR. Not just that, a lot of the developers who worked on KOTOR also worked on ME. Many of the leaders and co-coordinators were the same, including the director. LucasArts only published the game, and had very little hand in the production. Watch the first 20 seconds of this video.
You're awfully smug, but you do realize that you aren't harming anyone but yourself by buying thegame, right? It's like you're on a suicide hotline and trying to piss people off by saying you're going to jump out a window. I dunno. Sounds hard. Especially the buying part.
