What do you most like or dislike about your country?

What I dislike about my counrty(America)
1. We try to be the police men of the world.
2. The goverment is not for the people
3. The media plays a big factor in American lives.
4. We elected Dumbasses in as presidents aswell as congress and sentate.
5. Congress lead the whole country
6. We have a failing economy and no one does nothing about it.

I dont know why, but I have always had some kind of obsession about visiting Australia. Is it a good place to visit?

I know I have said alot of dislikes but At this time in america it's hard to like anything because of the goverment.

Food? SPorts?

Food? How, everything looks like it's made out of plastic.

I like food as long as it dosen't have MSG in it I'm fine. (Conspiracy Theroist) Sports I love sport it's just steroids are runing it but I have gotten over it. As well as it has become a big money machine and people are getting greedy.

I wasnt talking about McDonalds. I personally despise fast food.

Kebabs. No one can despise kebabs.

That's not from the US though. I agree though, Turkish (at least...that's what I think it is) fast food is the best.

Absolutely, but it depends what for. The diversity of our natural features and fauna is unparalleled, our weather, beaches and chicks are awesome. Melbourne and Sydney are excellent cities, absolutebly filled with great places to visit, such as great libraries, museums, interesting buildings, zoos, botanic gardens, aquariums, theme parks etc. The people here are generally very friendly and helpful.

The downside is that there really isn't much history. Aside from a few nice large 19th century buildings in Melbourne, there aren't many historical sites.

Like:
Basic freedoms
wide range of diffrent foods
entertainment
History (I know we had some drak times)
Dislike:
Poor educational system
Poor health care system
Racism/Religious fundamentalism
Foreign policy

The history does not matter to me that much, I was just wondering if it was just a nice place to visit, which after this post, now I know that it is a great place to visit =D.

Likes
-Safe, like someone running a red-light would make the headlines level of safe
-Public Transport is reliable most of the time.
-Infrastructure is good.
-Standard living is high
-I personally like that our military is among the best in South East Asia (It's the only real source of pride I have for Singapore.)

Dislikes
-Chewing gum is banned
-Guns are banned
-Airsoft is banned
-Private ownership of Paintball guns are banned
-Basically, a lot of stuff are banned.
-Mandatory Death Penalty for drugs in play
-Same goddamn party ruling us for over thirty damn years (Elections are getting boring.)
-Not of lot of freedom of speech
-Foreigners get a lot more benefits than locals
-Foreigners are generally treated better than the locals by the locals themselves. (Unless you're from Mainland China, hoo-boy.)

Why is it banned?

I wish I knew. I think it had something to do with people sticking it all over the place and the govt taking the easy way out and banning it outright.

I will admit sicking gum over places is disgusting, but it seems kind of extreme to bane it outright.

You misunderstand. I dislike the fact that we are a target for illegal immigrants. I wish it wasn't something we had to deal with. However, I've accepted it. I don't dislike the illegal immigrants themselves; I can't blame them at all for wanting to come here. I hate everything about Abbot with a passion.
