You have DutchLPGuy, although I haven't watched too much of his stuff lately, he's still pretty awesome. As for me, I'm a lazy fuck who needs to both test out if I can record CKII, and make some kind of update video thingamajig.
Indeed, as a western person it shouldn't be that difficult (EU and maybe US or something like that), but if you're not from those areas you have to do a course about the Netherlands with some ridiculous questions that a random dutch person probably doesn't know. And I also believe you have to learn dutch, which you should anyway. I personally don't really care about this. I certainly think the idea is good. The only problem is the fact that you get dragged into pointless wars (Iraq, Afghanistan). I fully support participation in wars with a just cause (Libya, and Syria if necesarry). The general opinion is that we shouldn't get into all those wars but you have to as part of the alliance.
The general opinion is positive, my opinion is "fucked up". Nice quality. He's a good LP'er, but not very much people watch him, apparently. Also, you should start LP'ing again. Why don't you do another Shattered Europe Let's Play as Bohemia? The whole alliance is pointless. It was founded in an effort to stop communism from spreading westwards, but after the fall of the USSR, it became more and more an effort for the USA to keep Europe in their sphere of influence. Do you yourself think we still need it? I certainly don't. No, you won't. The Dutch are hiding for the big flood.
Yeah, the update video I have been planning for a while is my explanation as to why I haven't done another LP yet. And I've already decided another EU3 LP will with D&T, 'cos it's such an amazing mod. No alternate history though, which is a shame. Yep, in Holland (Noord and Zuid), Groningen, Zeeland, Friesland, Gelderland, Utrecht, Drenthe, Limburg, Flevoland, Noord-Brabant and Overijssel you'll generally find Dutch people.
So 13000 people got injured this februari when they went ice skating. Suddenly they are making a huge problem out of this because the number is so high. But if you compare it to how many people went skating (at least 1 million according to the KNSB) it's a small number, only 1.3%. But the worst thing is, to show how high the number of injured people is they compare it to how many people get injured in the same period WITHOUT ANY ICE!!! WTF!!!

So apparently the Netherlands and Portugal are at war with each other since 1567. I personally don't believe this anymore because there is one major problem. The Netherlands didn't exist, the Eighty Years War would start a year later. And I'm also not sure if Portugal was independent at that time or even existed as a puppet.
It could be from 1568 'til now, but I can't seem to find a source, other than a brief mentioning here. Maybe they could have been mistaken with the Portuguese-Dutch War, but that didn't happen until 20 years later, and they did sign a treaty. I think that also followed the 80 years war, because in the period 1588-1664 the Portuguese crown was in hands of the House of Habsburg, which were among others the royals of Spain (so it was indeed a puppet).
I also believe I read or heard it somewhere else but I couldn't find it either. Maybe I should send an email to the foreign minister and ask about this.
