After losing two of our best mods in a span of a few days, I think we need to tall about how we are going to replace them or if we are gonna replace them. I think the best people to replace them with would be our two tribuens, Romulus211, and DutchMasterRace. It seems only logical that the tribunes would be the next in line to take the modship after two mods have left the forum. What do you guys think on the matter?
While I've been thinking that those two would do well, for now I think it's best to lay low for a while and see how things develop from here. There are still mods left, which should be plenty for now. If Stalin feels that more mods are needed, he will appoint them as he sees fit, I'm sure of it.
Rom is an alright tribune but I don't see him as a mod. Dutch(Fey) I have no opinion of him. UnitRico is correct as well.
Let stalin choose the mods. He can choose the ones he feels are the most capable and are in the correct time zone. This isn't a democracy and only stalin has the power to appoint mods. We whined our way into the tribute system, the people we elected as tribunes were elected because they disagreed with the mods on certain subjects, they were elected to keep the common fourmer happy not to enforce rules. Therfore i do not think the tribunes would be ideal mods. Stalin should choose the mods he think would be best at enforcing the rules not the ones the fourmers like the most or elected to change things.
Unless we want to do some sort of Grand Reform, Stalin should pick the mods. It'll be a lot simpler than electing someone and accidentally choosing the wrong guy.
I already said how pointless this discussion is in another thread. Stalin will choose the mods in his own time. He will talk with candidates and choose someone he trusts. He wont do it based on threads like this more than likely. Patience, rushing to pick new mods is about the worst thing possible.
Well, there are what, 6 mods? That isn't really too much, is it? Especially not if the media revolution (or whatever) is successful and more and more people come to the site.
No, not if the Glorious Revolution will succeed. But for now it holds back reports because the majority must agree, and the majority is pretty major.
