    You don't even know that yet. It could be some side quest for a character that you run in to in the normal game.
    Maybe in the dlc you play as a prothean a mission he just tells you about in the main game. my point is tb and all the boycot screamers have no idea what they actualy talk about yet. It could turn out as no big deal.

    I've read somewhere (top comment on the mailbox video actually) that the Prothean is still in the game, just this DLC allows him to be a squadmate. I'm not justifying buying the DLC though, 10 dollars is still a ripoff regardless of if this is actually the case. I still refuse to buy it.

    In any case you pay 10€ for

    a) a plot hole

    b) a compannion

    This is a ripoff and outright exploitation of the fans. This is how much they care about their customers, than they just spit on their face. No thank you, I'm not taking that.

    Alright, guys, please try not to think of this whole thing too much. Sometimes it is necessary and the message has to be spread about how bullshit this is, but I think we've all done a pretty bang-up job on that. So, please, let's just forget about it, we're getting too worked up over a little thing, and it won't really make any difference if we fight it, or support it.

    Zaeed & ceberus network pack was supposed to be DLC, but it got boycotted so they changed it for free to everyone that bought the game new.
