Yes, it is useless. Thats why we have a mod change the name, and begin posting threads in any languages besides English that we want to!.

I fully support the multi-lingual threads, it's been a while since I've been to a Dutch forum, and if there'd be threads for learning, it'd be even better, I should probably get better in both German and French.

However, in case of the moderators not knowing the language used in the thread, someone should be appointed to watch over the thread and ensure nothing goes horribly wrong. In the case that it does happen, said person should contact a mod with the post in question, and with it a translation to English. The mod can then verify it however (s)he sees fit.

Changing it to a multilingual forum is a good idea. I might even manage to have a conversation in French. I've studied it for more than 5 years and I don't even know the days of the week. In conversation, I might know quite a bit though. The forum will also help me to pick up Dutch insults.

If I teach you them, can you record yourself pronouncing them? Seeing as Dutch is a total bitch to pronounce for non-native speakers, I might just get a good laugh out of it.

To demonstrate, I have no fucking clue what this guy is saying. It's apparently Dutch, but it sounds incredibly German:

People laugh at my accent when I say things in English anyway.

Speaking of which, we have our own language, which is like English on booze. It's called "Scots". I detest it.

But why? The Scottish accent is awesome. Although, I can hardly follow the discussions on Match of the Day sometimes...

A lot of North Americans have German lineage. As do I, and I don't think I'd be able to pronounce it in Dutch, I'd be able to in Deutsche, just not in Dutch. That is impossible even with my half English, half Portuguese tongue.

Also, the person who posted the video may have confused "Dutch" with "Deutsche"...

    That does make sense.

A few words did sound somewhat familiar, and on the uploader's channel, most watched and favourited videos are all in Dutch.

Nope, we are integrating what we have of the newly formed Dutch thread, the old Russian thread, and taking what once was the Russian sub-forum, and turning it into a sub-forum for all languages.

    *facepalm*

If this website is based off Soviet Culture and half of us agree to get rid of a russian thread what good will it do to have a sub forum for all languages! Keep it our language as english.

Jesus christ I am sounding like a Republican!
