I am confused by your sentence fragment. I did edit my post, so maybe you are referring to what it said beforehand, but I didn't think anyone would have time to read and respond to that. I also don't understand why your quote would not include my text that was edited out. However, if you are referring to that message, I will edit it back into my post for clarity's sake.

Editing now applies to quotes it seems. Yes I was referring to what you said beforehand :p

And if you don´t live in Portugal, hwo can you say it is social liberal? I actually would like if it was, but it isn´t.

But because of evolution, humans were able to become more individualistic. The apogeum of that mentality came with the Contemporary Age. And has I said, socialism is incompatible with democracy. Those thougths of yours are very utopic, but also very unrealistic.

But as I said before, if you want an entire socialist society, there is always going to be people who oppose it. That is why you will always have to use coercion to make socialism a reality.

Even thougth he likes Stalin, he agrees that Stalin did a lot of shit. I was refering to those who know that Stalin did a lot of shit, but they still actually like the fact that he did a lot of shit (unlike JosefvStalin). And JosefvStalin is not the Prince of Macedon. I don´t accept cult of personality.

No, it is not good. It is and will continue to hurt the economy because of to much spending and because it will make the people more dependent from the state.

Democracy = rule by the people
Socialism = Economy ran by the people/workers

So you're basically happy with the shitty system we have because you believe that trying to make it better won't work?
    That's giving up without trying.

Also I do agree that the capitalist system lives because of human nature, but that doesn't mean we should just be happy with it.

Shitty system? It may have his problems (no system is perfection) but is better then living with food rations and living in a state which stomps on human rights.

And yes we should be happy about it. You should be happy for not having born in North Korea or Cuba.

Yeah but we have Guantanamo Bay, that's enough for me to call it a shitty system.

But we don't have political prisoners, nor do we send activists to prison.

True, but that's a rarity. We don't have camps full of Bradley Mannings.

That's because someone like Bradley Manning is a rarity. If more people did things like that then more people would be in jail.

I like Bradley Manning. I think he did a good thing.

Anyways, we may not have labor camps, but we do have Guantanamo bay, yuhs.

No I don't. The reason why we don't have more political prisoners is because most people are complacent sheep. Not because our state is some ideal place where only bad people go to jail. If we weren't so complacent I assure you we would have camps full of "Bradley Mannings". People being complacence isn't some sort of achievement of our freedoms it's quite the opposite.
    @Skyicewolf beat you to it
