I was walking to the gym from my school, and then this kid I knew walked past me and asked me if I had some weed he could buy, what he didn't notice was the police officer walking down the opposite side of the street, I promptly had my bag searched. When it turned out i didn't have any weed on me, we said we were joking and walked off. Only time I've ever been face-to-face with a police officer in my life.
Thankfully, I have not had any run ins with Law Enforcement ever. This is good because i plan to become a Police Officer or Deputy Sheriff after the military, after high school.
What did the wily bitch nigga instigate in order to get flopped by the popo? "shizzle bizzle mofugga"
The only times I've every been in trouble with the police was: 1. One of my friends got into a fight a few blocks from my house. Someone called the cops so they all ran. I a look a little like him, but luckily he's over a head shorter than I am, so it was all good. He still got his ass kicked, though. 2. Some kid who lived a few doors down (I used to hang out with him, but he was kind of a douche) did something to piss someone off and ended up getting chased down the street by some guy with a baseball bat. He managed to get back to his house, avoiding a couple of broken bones. However, I am about his age and look sorta like him (white, brown hair). Still, my grandfather and brother vouched for me, so it was all good. So on the whole, nothing serious.
Every modern society has a police force, saying "fuck the police" is an untenable ethical position. It's like saying " fuck the public transport system".
The police force is just a tool that obeys whatever the current government agenda happens to be. Crime is either an act of necessity, an act of rage, or the result of an unfair law. Crime that is punished in America that is; the real criminals get to run loose here. I believe poverty can be eliminated, I believe people just don't know what they're angry at most of the time, and I don't believe in following the law if you disagree with it, so I don't believe in having it or anyone to enforce it. What I mean is that I have a lot of faith in people and I just consider our society to in a very unhealthy state. People need today need to be healed, not controlled.
All of my various law violations have been purely in the name of entertainment. The same goes for thousands of other criminals, especially psychopaths and other motherfuckers with psychological disorders.
Ok I'm going to be very straight forward and blunt about this. It's not the fear of being punished by god that stops people from breaking the law. It's the fear of getting arrested. Now lets say there is no police force, most people would still be "good honest citizens" but there would be a shift in power, the armed criminals would be the dominate force. This would force civilians to arm themselves and band together, forming some sort of militia AKA a police force. Now lets say some dude murderd your mother. Wouldn't you like to have a police looking for the wo/man who did this?
Maybe rage wasn't the best way to put it. You find entertainment in breaking the law, maybe there is a reason for that. And "psychopaths" aren't born naturally, they're just the by-product of our domination/submission orientated society, and they aren't anywhere near as common as people claim. @PineappleJoe I didn't say anything about god stopping people. People don't go around murdering for the hell of it because most of them actually give a damn about being a decent person. I don't think that would happen if we tried actually fixing the root causes of crime. To answer your question, the likelihood of that happening is very low. If it did happen, catching the killer wouldn't bring her back and locking him/her up wouldn't help this person learn from what he/she did. Maybe if it happened my views would change, but as of now "justice" just sounds a lot like "revenge".
I called the cops on my sister once for being annoying and then left the phone on without saying anything. I was about 6 or so, when they actually came I cried like a little bitch.
