So this is a thread to post fails that happened to you or somebody you know, or just anything in general. I'll start it off. The final jeopardy question for our history game on eastern europe was "What two events during the Cold War included the US sending aid to European countries. (the correct answer was the Marshall Plan and Truman Doctrine). Only the three people on each team that was up at the time could answer it. Just about everyone (but the 3 people apparently) on our team knew the answer. The three people said the Berlin Airlift and the Warsaw Pact. THE WARSAW PACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They somehow thought the warsaw pact was the US giving aid to European nations to fight communism. The other team got it wrong as well. Mind you, all the major events were on papers hanging around the room, and we had just gone over this about 10-20 minutes prior. Did I forget to mention this is an honors history class?
