So I was thinking of how we can get the NKVD a foothold in the total war area, and then I remembered how easy it is to recruit people into clans for Rome Total War. (bout a year ago I made a clan for RTW and managed to recruit like 10 people in a single night. Then I lost my RTW Cd key...). It should not be very hard to get the NKVD to have a nice sized presence on Rome Total War.

So here is how we recruit people to the NKVD Rome Total War clan. Basically, you create a game that says, "NKVD Clan Recruitment" or something like that. At first, we should just take virtually everyone that joins, but as we get larger, we can start to accept people based on their skill (if we get that large). If they have steam, tell them to join our Rome Total War NKVD Branch.

SOOOOOOOOO, let us conquer the realm of Rome Total War!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd say its better to stick to new games...like Fall of the samurai, you'll see a much bigger crowd on it than in Rome.

I don't have Rome. But Shogun 2, Medieval 2 or Napoleon is good. Though I don't know how good I am and would probably have my arese handed to me by most.

75 people online isn't exactly a lot of people, so yeah I still stick to what I said.

If you think about it though, if 75 people are on at one time almost all the time, that means there is more than likely up to a thousand people who still play it at the most.

WoT has almost all the time 10k people online, Fall of the Samurai would have so much people playing it that it would make no sense to recruit people that still play rome, you're better off recruiting people on Shogun 2.

Yeah, Yuri is right on this one. If you want a really major recruitment campaign, play games like World of Tanks and Shogun 2, because the average consumer's mind will not remember epic games like Rome or Medieval II.

My computer can't run any of these new games. It kinda sucks, all the games people are interested in on this forum are to high end for my pc. Plus the community is to small for the consoles which is the only thing i can run anything newer than a game from 2007 on.

Well, you could work on the Paradox side of things? And I'm in the same boat, my personal computer is a laptop, and my mum insists on getting a Mac for a home computer, so I'm not going to get so many good games just because I would have to re-buy them once I buy my own PC.

I don't think Paradox even sells hard copies....or not many at least.
You could try gamersgate, they're pretty good.

Well the reason why I am starting recruiting on Rome is because its dead easy, and more people in the clan have Rome and Medieval than any other total war game.

Don't have tournaments spread out over multiple days.
Make a poll to see what game people actually play instead of basing it on your own personal idea.
