    I think the more accurate justification is "you can't punish people for saying it if it's true". Which, outside of contractual obligations, is not a 'justifiction'.

    At the end of the day if you just say "X member you are autistic" & it is known to be true then that is simply a statement of fact, whatever. Why you are bothering to point it out is beyond me.

    When you start using a mental disorder in order to right off an entire political opinion then it becomes a problem. If people could learn how to argue they wouldn't need to result to insults & that doesn't mean you can't spice up your arguments, just don't directly & tangentially insult people.

    I would use it too.

    But "retarded" doesn't necessarily mean "autistic". It encompasses lots of different learning disabilities, like the downs and dyslexia.
