In DLC form. That is bullshit. Do they know how much BS that ending was. I was at least hoping for a new game of some sort.
Oh look. Some more cutscenes to give us more exposition on the bullshit ending. That sounds awesome. [/sarcasm] It's out in the summer anyway, and I'll have stopped caring by then.
Well, you shouldn't care much for it anyways, it is a videogame, but... well... that's it, it's just a videogame.
A videogame in which I inserted 100's of hours of my life into. That I painstakingly took the time to make sure was perfected and ready for Mass Effect 3, only to be disappointed thoroughly. We were promised a conclusion, A GREAT GAME! BUT NO! We get DLC closure, and without, just a shitty ending. I really thought the indoctrination theory was true, but with said DLC being announced, then that obviously just puts a hole straight through the theory. AND THE FACT THAT THEY NEED DLC JUST TO ESTABLISH A GOOD ENDING!
I understand that having a good ending to a series of games is reasonable, but putting a theory behind it? Now, come on... I don't want a shitty CoD storyline, but I do want a story. Not really a big deal, dude, I put way more hours into ME1 than you did with the whole series (Assuming 100 is the estimate for the entire series, as provided by you).
No, no, no. By 100's of hours, I meant 100's of hours into every game with all the DLC, although I understand how it can be interpreted like that. At least the Indoctrination Theory made sense, if not low for a video game company to actually put a theory behind the ending. It was an RPG series, a series based off story, lore, hell, there were books written that added to the lore. And the fact that the ending was so sloppy, disregarding all established facts, and just plunging ahead! Did Bioware not foresee the consequences? Or did they assume those who wanted the story were in the minority by 3, and those who wanted action the main followers of the series now? The fact they even have options on how to play, whether it be Story, Role-Playing, and Action was utter BS. IT IS AN RPG SERIES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I DON'T BY MASS EFFECT FOR THE COMBAT, I BUY IT FOR THE AMAZING STORY! The whole game of ME3 wasn't so sloppy, if not seemingly convenient that you solve most problems of the galaxy, but that ending. That ending.
Taken from page one, when I said I never stopped playing, I fuckin meant it. Not 24/7 never stopped playing it, but I still play it for an hour or two every here and there. Not just ME1, but all three, and all of it's DLC. Come on dude, read a book or something. Something other than the ME3 books... Wait, do you mean Mass Effect books or comics? I got a Comic for a Collector's Edition offer, do you mean those things? Cause... That didn't really add too much to it, just the part about that fucking gang-ridden station you had to go to in ME2, all it did was provide a reason as to why that Asari chick was on the Citadel rather than that place. Let's end this... rather unpleasantly heated discussion with, just blame EA, dude. They are, most likely, the cause of ME3's problems, both story and gameplay wise.
Yeah, I really can't see why Bioware or how they could do any of it. It really all is EA's fault. That is what I thought from Day 1, and I must keep believing it. Two things I wanted from Mass Effect 3: Talking to Turian Councilor, "AH YES, REAPERS"! and more space battle action.
To bring this thread back from the dead, I really must say I am fucking disappointed with the quality of Multiplayer matches in this particular game. I would've thought EA would get their shit together to perfect this brand new idea for the ME franchise, but nope, I was way off. The issue I speak of is mostly this; sometimes, dead centre in the middle of a round, I am no longer able to do any damage to the enemy what so ever, I cannot melee, I cannot shoot them, I cannot use powers, and I cannot obtain any more ammunition, even after the end of a round. The worst part about it is, the enemy can damage me, there is no lag, everyone looks fan-fucking-tastic, and nobody else seems to have a problem but me. And that really pisses me off when that happens. I seriously hope whichever company is in charge of the game takes notice of the problems and patches them before I completely lose interest in ME3 as a whole.
That and its only 11 rounds, no more. But I suddenly hate the ending even more considering they say fuck the indoctrination theory (quite honestly the best thing to exist) and are saying that the relays are still destroyed and everyone in the Sol System is fucked.
One thing that would be better is if the did something like the ending of Dragon Age: Origins. Just tell in short what happened to your companions and the different races. I don't particularly care about the whole Indoctrination theory, I just want to know what happens so you have the feeling your choices matter.
Yes, but I named Dragon Age because it's also a Bioware game so we know they can make an ending like that.
I know DA:O is a Bioware game, just adding on other title that does something like that. I would also like to see the actual Battle for London and above Earth. Seeing my ships fight the Reapers, it would be amazing to see that. Seeing my ground forces fight husks and Reaper forces through London. A sight to see.
