With the Tribunal all but abolished now, we are suddenly at an absence for things to regularly vote on as a community. So, here we shall keep the Tribunal alive in spirit. Basically, this is going to be like the tribunal elections, only there is only one winner and if you win, you get nothing except the right to say that you're the most popular member on the forum. We're going to do this similarly to how we used to do tribunal elections. There will be four different parts. ____________________________________________________________________________ First, we have the nomination thread, nominate yourself for the popularity contest, and if your post receives four likes, your nomination qualifies.Second, we will have the debate and discussion thread where you will argue your case for being the most popular member on the forum. Third, we will have the voting thread, where you select the person you believe is most popular (No posting in this thread).Lastly, we will have the celebration thread where the winner of the NKVD Popularity Contest is officially announced and praised.____________________________________________________________________________Please only use this thread to post your own nomination and nothing else. No discussions, no questions, no nothing. Just state that you nominate yourself and possibly provide a reason for it. And just to make it clear, this is just a popularity contest, when it's over none of it counts for anything except the right to say you won a popularity contest. Also, you can only like one nominee. The first like you have in this thread will be the only one that counts. I will personally take care of the logistics of handling the different nominees and their respective tickets throughout the contest. The nomination process will end on Saturday, 14 April at noon EST (I'm not going to convert the time for you). One last thing, before anyone gets any ideas, I won't be participating in the contest.
I nominate myself, even though I've already won the popularity contest. Also, step two eliminates the whole point of it being a popularity contest, and is pointless. There is nothing to debate or discuss. Also put the link to this thread in your sig.

Since we've only got about 18 hours left of this and no one really seems too interested, I'm just going to call this one a failed project.
