Global Warming is a hoax

Global Warming is one of the great deceptions of this century. It's a shining example of scientific activism. Instead of looking at facts these scientists would rather fulfill an agenda. The fact is that throughout it's existence the earth has gone through a cycle of warming and cooling. To say that the industrial revolution and it's fruits is causing global warming is a blatant falsehood. Notice how the left now calls it "climate change" instead of global warming? This is because they know they've been proven wrong. Al Gores movie an inconvieniant truth got him a new mansion and some more private airplanes. Oh thats right he buys "carbon credits". What a joke. The whole thing is a fallacy and a fraud invented to give the UN more money.

1) Practically everything in science is disputed or can be disputed. That some scientists don't believe in global warming is niether making them wrong nor making all those who do believe wrong.
2) Cause may be where I break from the opinions of others. Worsen is much more proper to me.
3) Simply that something has happened before is not proof that humanity's actions on the Earth have not had a drastic affect on what is happening. Remember that the human race has touched practically every corner of the globe and radically changed its surface.
4) I still say 'global warming'. I guess that either I am not 'mainstream left' or 'left', huh?

Anthropogenic global warming is hubris. It's likely that we are undergoing a shift in climate, but humanity is not the central cause or a significant contributor to the phenomenon.

Reports of increases in general global temperatures get their data from airport runways, which are primarily composed of asphalt or concrete-asphalt mixtures. As anyone who's ever played tennis in the summer can tell you, the difference between on-court and off-court temperatures varies anywhere between 10-20 degrees. This is because asphalt has a much lower level of solar reflectance than most materials. About 90% of solar energy is absorbed by asphalt, and in flat, open areas where there isn't a significant amount of shade, like tennis courts and runways, temperatures can climb up to 50°F higher than in the surrounding area.

Obviously scientists know this, but it's common for 'green' groups to leave that detail out of their reports in order to give much higher temperature readings than are actually observed.
