Well I have been using this laptop in a while and since the day I bought it from the store I have gotten spam ads like " Your IP in Deland has been selected for a free blah blah blah " and shit, all of a sudden its saying glenwood instead of DeLand which is what it is suposed to say. I just wanted to clear this up if the situation ever rises. And anyone know how to fix t hid, of course I could care less wha the ads say.
How the fuck is this a problem? Same shit happens to me, Spam Ads say I'm in Barrie, when I'm in Toronto. Big whup!
This definitely should be in Tech Help. If they're ads in your browser, get AdBlock. Otherwise get MalwareByte's Anti-Malware and run a full scan, because you probably have a virus.

Well having had a quick look on Google Maps Deland & Glenwood aren't that far away from each other. So now a lesson in how IP addresses are assigned. Your ISP assigns you are random IP address from your area whenever you connect to their server. Most of the time this IP address will point to roughly your location, for whatever reason they'll assign you an IP address from some other location nearby. This is normal don't worry. For example I'm at home in Kent now & it will often assign me an IP address from somewhere else in Kent other than where I am. When I'm at university however, my IP address is static & always points to my university because of the way they have it set up. As for bringing up the Matt issue, he was a mod pretending to be a Jewish father of 2. Not quite the same. Besides we didn't get rid of him, he left.
We have suspicion, and it is very clear, it is clear to everyone. Although, he cut the loose ends by having his account closed, and I don't think he's returned. Not even for the LP's.
