What?Believing that workers should own their workplace is just as bad as wanting to kill/expel/imprison a person because of his/her faith, political beliefs etc? I mean really?! I get that you don't like socialism, but don't compare it to mass murder(while some socialist states may have committed mass murder, it does not mean that something is inherently wrong with the ideology or that the ideology advocates mass murder) While I would say we would still be better than them, I agree that freedom of speech shouldn't be limited.
No, property is not shared. It is given to the state and people become "property" of that state, like the old slaves were property of their masters. Also, Marx, Engels and others marxist leaders believed in killing people to reach their objectives. And it is also a discriminating ideology, because like racism, it discriminates a certain group of humans, by saying that they are different. While in racism discrimination is made by the color of their skin and territorial origins, marxists discriminate because the wealth of someone, by saying that they are part of a "class". To that type of believe, which is discriminating like racism, it is called classism. In conclusion, yes, the ideology is evil. Oh, oh, oh,oh, but, but, but, but,but marxist socialism and communism was NEVER put to practice! So, those deaths do no COUNT, you evil capitalist! As I said in response to pineapple joe, marxism is evil, because it promotes classism.
I will add that prisons should be avoided and ideally not exist, group homes, assisted living, etc should be the solutions to crime, it will provide them rehabilitation and when needed separate them from society. @crocve, Class is something marxism wishes to abolish, infact marxism doesnt even claim the capitalist class is evil, it just claims the capitalist class will fall to a workers uprising, it gives no moral reasoning, only the marxists do that on a personal level.
That clearly wasn't what I said. Mabye you should re-read my post? Socialism promotes a classless society... Furthermore, Socialism does not discriminate based on wealth. Stalinism and Leninism might, but I'm pretty sure Anarchism doesn't and a lot of other variations of Socialism.(my own included) I also think you throw around the word "discrimination" too loosely. Is it discrimination to tax the wealthy/rich higher than the average? Is it discrimination to try and own your workplace along with your co-workers? I don't even want to go into the whole "Marx and Engel advocates murder to reach objectives."
So a mass murdere should live in assisted living spaces and group homes? Hey I gotz an idea, how about we just let him live in his house with police pretending to guard him!
I dont think he will recieve needed care from guards, but assuming someone just needed to be separated from society, simply having guards at all times watching you sounds fine.
What a lovely job... Following a mass-murderer around day and night to make sure he doesn't go on another killing spree...
So how exactly would you "rehabilitate" him? He should be held accountable for his actions not babied and sent to some sort of rehab centor.
What does your punishment achieve? Also how can you hold someone accountable for there brain not functioning the way yours does? I dont know how I would, im not a psychology expert, thats my girlfriend's job.
Here's something I'm wondering. Pending a competency hearing (basically determining the legal ability of the defendant to stand trial, commonly refereed to in media outlets as "the insanity plea") what would you foreigners feel about the death penalty in this case? I'm fairly on the fence about the death penalty, but it seems that this is the kind of haneous and depraved crime that would warrant it.
The state puts itself on the level of murderers when it commits murder. Furthermore, the state commits murder to punish murder... That seems somewhat stupid to me.
