http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/04/20/us-american-unions-idUSBRE83J0WG20120420 Just thought it was interesting. I didn't even know AA was bankrupt. Its interesting they are thinking about merging with United. Just want to point out, there is nothing official here, it just seems to be spit balling by labor groups right now. Also, it would save 6200 out of 14200 jobs that would be lost with no merge.
No, AA being bankrupt has but I really don't pay attention to who goes bankrupt as long as it doesn't affect me. But this news was posted today and it specifically says "this friday" in the bold. By this Friday, it means, of course today. This was the newest article on Reuters, and Reuters arguably gets news the quickest.
I've heard plenty of times over the last few months that American Airlines was considering a merger with United.
Considering yes. But this shows that those workers are behind a possible merger. And it really doesn't matter how old the news is, as long as its still current and there is no thread on it.
Oh. Well airlines aren't exactly the most important of news I'm surprised I heard about it before it came reality.
