It's about this telepathic gorilla who puts a personal ad in the newspaper looking for a student to teach about what he thinks is wrong with society, mainly we're working against nature by using agriculture.

Well I think a "objectively" good utopia would be the one described in Manna, but on a personal level that wouldn't cut it for me. A world free from communists and socialists, where America stands much higher than the entire rest of the world combined, and where China is just our summer home; I think that would be a near perfect world.

A place where nobody exists. Absolutely flawless in it's own way.

    That means you won't exist.

Now do you mean nobody as in no humans? Or just no organisms in general?
Manna? A quick Google search simply revealed MANNA is the acronym for a food company, and I'm pretty sure that's not what you meant. And yes, I meant on a personal level, I don't care what anyone thinks is best for everyone, I'm just interested to know the world people would like to exist (or not exist) in.

Well, for starters, manna is the name of the divine bread that God sent down to the Jews as they traveled through the desert from Egypt to Israel. That's where the name of this particular Manna comes from. Additionally, a Google search yields the Wikipedia page for manna before this food company, so you either fail miserably at Google searches or you're just plain ignorant.

Nothing and no one exists at all. It's the only way to ensure it's perfect as utopia's are a ridiculous idea. It's absolutely impossible to make one as peoples happiness is subjective.

Manna is a short story ending in a basically perfect society where you can do whatever you want and all your needs and wants are looked to by an army of robots with seemingly endless resources.

    Sounds interesting.
I saw it, but I didn't open it. For two reasons. One, I was pretty sure we weren't talking about a Hebrew word. Two, I thought it explained why they call some food company manna, because it meant bread.

The world would be covered by a giant rainforest, and we'd all be sloths hanging from its branches.
    Admit it, you want that.

Alright, check this, it's a world where I am the supreme god emperor of everything, and all things, including people, are my personal property, and everybody loves and worships me. Think about it, there would be no wars, unless I got bored, no communists, because I'd have them all killed or rehabilitated, and everybody would be high. It would just be awesome. Plus there would be sexy parties!

A world where Canada earns it's rightful place, replacing the U.S. as a financial superpower. In the country i would like a govment with very extensive social programs with housing for those who want it but you are also free to own a house if you want to. Healthcare would cover everything including prescription drugs. University would be free to all who plan to take a job that is needed otherwise heavily subsidized. I would also have extremely low small business taxes and anew low co-op tax to encourage co-ops instead of corporations then the corporate tax will be raised to a minimum of 50%. Crown corporations will have expanded into most markets and the oil and gas sector will be exclusively controlled by crown corporations.

It's impossible to achieve perfection with humanity, so the only way would be to kill every human being, which is less than appealing...
Also a Utopia would be a boring and static society, and humans and evolution thrive in chaos.

You're all so quick to underestimate pleasure. If everyone can have all of their wants and needs fulfilled without doing any labor, we've pretty much reached the Holy Grail of civilization. Maybe you can cast it off and call it boring now, but I think you're ignorant of the value we place on personal happiness.

If there's one thing I can't stand it's people asserting that utopia is simply having all your needs met.

Wow you really got beef... I mean a dozen people basically said the same thing as me, but you immidiately responded when I said it.
What I meant was that pleasure, as you so simply put it, is not the goal for humanity. Evolution(we're talking more complex than in animals) is the most important thing, and once we reach, or rather decieve ourselves to believe that we've reached a point where we and society can't get any better, we've lost the ability to evolve, and I don't believe there is a pinnacle of evolution. We should never content outselves.(and furthermore, I don't believe it is possible to content humanity) Mabye boring was a word I should have left out and just have said static, but I still stand by what I said.
