I'm expecting the final to be between Germany and Spain (if they don't meet earlier, that is), and in that case, I hope my neighbours will come out on top.

Can't remember all that much of it, but seeing as Spain was involved, I assume it had lots of diving all around.

Germany is in the same group as the Dutch, Portuguese and Danes, whereas Spain is in the same group as Italy, Ireland and Croatia.

well pujol scored the first and only goal with a header during a corner kick somwhere between the 70-80th minute. Plus our offence was messed up because Muller was out. i was quite dissapointed

thank you, im looking forward to the match between us and the Dutch

I must say I really underestimated Mueller, he's a hell of a lot better than I had first thought.

Me too, although "our" (not a big fan of using that when referring to national sports teams, but oh well) team is not as in shape as they were at the WC, although Robben seems to be on the way back (not a fan of him, a true one-trick pony, and to me he's also the reason they lost the final).

Yes i thought the same but he really was a game changer during the matches with england and Argentina

Yeah Germany and the Netherlands had a match recently and the score was 4:0 Germany, but im sure the Dutch will pull at least a top 5 place

    Are they even participating?

    Group A - Greece
    Group B - Germany
    Group C - Ireland
    Group D - France

And ultimately I'm looking for Germany to win it.

Group D is really going to be good to watch.

Oh i certainly hope not, i will admit however Borussia Dortmund's last win over Bayern Munchen was quite a good match. Also everyone in Germany is secretly cheering for Bayern Munchen to win the UFEA championships.
