I can only trace back my ancestors to my great great grandpa who could be of gypsy origin, becouse of his name.(You don't meet a lot of eastern european folks with the name Rafael)

Also as my grandfather's name is hungarianised Yugoslavic which makes my origin a little bit more predictable, and I am also of transylvanian roots but that was in the early 1900's

Has this now become a thread where people discuss their ancestry?

A week? I don't see how anyone could possibly survive a week-long bus journey and still be optimistic. That film lied to to me.
    In what way?

We have the nation's steel industry and produce the best steel in the world for one.

We have, not one, but two world class state universities, plus the University of Notre Dame.

We have one of the best reformed education systems in the country.

We also have some of the most esteemed politicians in the country, including our governor, Mitch Daniels who is one of the most prominent members of the Republican Party, and 6-term senator, Richard Lugar who is likely to be voted President Pro-tempore after the next election, should he win and is also leader of a sub-committee devoted to global nuclear disarmament.

    As a start.

Upon closer inspection, it also seems there is a city called Gary there. That is a good name for a city.

You also have the highest cost of living index.

I've never heard of a Peppered Sardine before.

We have the best relative agricultural sector in the Midwest.

And your movies all suck any more.

And half of your politicians are dead and the other half have retired, they no longer count.

Is there really no real Germans on the forum? Because if there is. It would be a good time to come out now (see what I did there).

That's because you don't have state nationalism.
    You're a Californian.
There's nothing special about that. You're from California.

    However, I'm a Hoosier.
And I'm glad to say I am.

Whats so special about living in indiana? I love my state more then my country, being californian means 2 things, your rich and famous or your poor and proud, I am proud to be a californian, best climate best people, theres nothing better then living in California, and theres nothing that you can say that will change my mind,

Also there are no songs about awesome life in Indiana.
