    Say the nation that you currently reside in goes to war with another nation, your nation takes a beating and starts losing ground on its home soil. Sooner or later, the area in which you live in is occupied by the troops of the nation at war with your nation. You and your neighbours are now offically in a occupied land and direct contact with enemy soldiers who are policing the land.

    What would you do in that situation: Would you go into hiding for fear of your life? Openly talk and converse with the foreign soldiers? Take up arms? Or something else.

    You left out some important details, namely who they are and how they're treating the people in the occupied territory. Certainly certain countries would be worse than others. It's fine that you left them out but it does affect how someone would act.

    Well, if the army occupying the land was running around looting the land and killing the people than the answer would be pretty odvious.

    Either way as much as I dislike the US government I can't say being occupied would be a "positive" thing. No-one likes having their country occupied, despite how much our government and some of our people seem think otherwise.

    The only way Canada could build up anywhere near enough armed forces in 30 years to take over the US is if Fallout happens except we didn't annex them and Canada remained untouched somehow.

    Since you said they were looting and burning everything then yes I would rebel and fight them. If not, it would depend on who they were, what they stood for and what they were trying to achieve.
