The Sun in Canada is also a joke good thing no one reads it. The Globe and Mail for English or La Presse for French are the ones to read.
I remember the sun because some of my British friends like to trash it alot, I remember one went on a drunken rant on XBL about the evils of the Sun and the Hillsborough disaster. Seemed like The Sun was the equivalent to fox news here in America.
Unfortunately all news channels are biased, so the best way to defeat this is to allow as many perspectives as possible and let the people decide. However, we're only likely to get state bias (which usually has corporate bias as well) or corporate bias as independent television channels are unlikely to spring up due to the sheer expense. I was disgusted when Press TV was banned here.
Get so much information from different resources and be constantly confused on current events, so that you follow the leader with other dumb people.....like you.
