Well I don't want to say something like the discovery of agriculture, because it's not really a "moment," but more of a evolution over time so...
I'm on the fence, but possibly the Battle of Plataea(and in general the failed Persian Invasions of Greece) or another would be the creation/emergence of Christianity and later Islam, though it's hard to say if another religion(s) would not have taken eithers place.

I'd say the foundation one of the first cities around 6,000B.C.E. "Ugarit" I believe, in Mesopotamia. An event that definitely shaped the Western world and caused the rise of the Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Hittites etc.

Also the invention of an alphabet that could be easily used by even the most uneducated men and women, by the Phoenicians, which shaped the whole of the Western world and indeed much of the Near East aswell.

This is all assuming that the battle at Teutoburg forest actually changed anything, which is debatable. And it was just one battle in a 1,000 year lifetime of a massive empire.

Not even Hannibal got to destroy an entire legion if I'm correct (but I'm probably wrong in this).

Cannae did not stop Roman expansion into Spain and Africa. Carrhae did not stop Roman Expansion into the middle east. Boudicca did not stop Roman expansion into Britain. Gergovia did not stop Roman expansion into Gaul. Asculum did not stop Rome from defeating Tarentum.

The Teutoburg Forest stopped Rome from expanding into Germania. German barbarians from the same area were largely responsible for the collapse of the Roman Empire.

The answers are endless to this question. Pretty much every year there is some event that changes the course of human history.

Didn't Boadicea just stand up against the Romans and then get slaughtered instantly?

Torstein Horgemo's triple cork. Completely changed snowboarding and skiing for ever. Now throwing down tripples has almost become the norm. It's awesome but sad at the same time as skiing is turning more and more into aerials.

She killed a couple legions. The Romans were on the verge of being pushed out. Many Roman cities, including Roman occupied Londinuim were sacked. Eventually, Rome finally got a competent commander who chose a chokepoint on Watling Street between two dense forests, and managed to defeat Boudicca's forces.
