Man, you're really invested in that whole gender identity thing aren't you? Why don't you try animal rights or something for a while? Shake things up.

I guess that makes sense. It is pretty entertaining to read.

Well at the very least don't act like you got this "shit" done figured out.

    Sorry, had to share this.
I've got a pretty fair opinion on how to fix the major problems. But no one can foresee all of them.

No you don't. I don't mean this as an insult, but if you can have a fair solution to the bigger problems, then we wouldn't have any problems by now.

Solutions to MAJOR problems for a United World. I don't mean things like the economy, because ideally that would sort itself out in a United World. I mean solutions like what the government should be, how we would build up infrastructure, how we would keep massive revolts from happening, things like that. And I obviously don't think I have all the solutions, or the best solutions, or even good solutions. But at least I have an idea on how it might work, I'm not just spouting random shit. I also obviously don't think its something that would happen overnight, or even over the course of a couple years. It would be a long and painful process taking over 100 years, but in the end it would be better for the globe and its inhabitants.

Dude, you really don't have any kind of solution at all.

I've delayed going on a hike for like 67 god damn hours just to reply, I'm leaving now.

Nationalism and self-determination? Cultural differences? Government investments in certain areas? Taxation? Bureaucracy? Army? Religion? Just to name a few...

Of course I don't. Who does?
Once again, go find the goddamn thread where i answered all these questions. I'm not repeating myself and derailing another thread with it.

In any case, has anyone actually seen anymore occupy protests, or was it just like a one day thing?

The United States of Africa thread.
Revive the discussion on it, if you want.

Now lets get back to the topic at hand:

    Then read it :p
And lets get back to this discussion
Let me ask a new question: What would you want to see in a renewed occupy movement?

Well sure, why not? They might eventually realize that direct democracy doesn't work with a large voting base and get something done...

I want to see an occupy movement with more clear cut goals, organization, etc. Maybe then more people would put confidence in them and join them.

I largely agree with Dan Carlin on this. They should elect a spokesman from within their ranks and focus their message on an attainable goal.

Or, to actually be effective, they could educate people on what exactly their proposed solutions are, and which candidates represent those solutions. Then, instead of being a bunch of whiny hippies, they'd have a shot at affecting legislation.
