I thought it was pretty serious he went and took time out of his day to make this thread and you shun it aside becaus of proper etiquette, it was a good thread tran, I think he should have forgotten obamacare.
See that's the thing about some of you mods, if the thread doesn't meet a certain standard you shove it aside, just because it doesnt have certain talking points or not written by a literary genius you shove it aside I got news for you not everyone can spring off and make a 3 page long sermon just stating his her opinion this deserves just enough recognition.
I've got news for you, this is exactly what off topic is for. If you're just going to post a GIF then this is a better place for it and guess what, just as many people will see the thread here. He didn't take the time to actually write out his topic and just posted a picture as the topic and it got moved to a different and just as active forum, how horrible.
The fact that its political and asks a question from the people who read it should be enough to warrant a place in the Political section.
I'm pretty sure if it is political in nature it should go in the political section, regardless of how the point is made. This thread was meant for a political discussion, not an off-topic discussion.
It's a freaking Pokemon joke. What, are we supposed to have some in depth and meaningful conversation over which Obama should forget so he can focus on gay marriage? There's already a well made Obama supports gay marriage topic, that is the kind of thing that belongs in the coffee house. Simply put if you want to have a debate on whether Obama should forget the war on terror or ask what Obama should focus on then make an actual topic about it instead of using a GIF as your whole post. Otherwise if you just wanna have some fun topics about pics, post them here.

It doesnt matter if its a pokemon joke, this thread incites conversation that we should have, the reasoning that obama would abandon his other economic plans for the gay marriage issue. This definitely warrants a thread to see if people really feel that obama abandoned his other platforms for this one, so tell me just because it was written in form of a pokemon joke it deserves to be cast away to un political un important part of the forum?
Yes, however this really isn't an unimportant part of the forum and you all could be having a discussion on it instead of complaining. I don't really care either way, I stand by it being moved to off topic so you can either talk about the OP or not.
Shit, Kali was outright deleting a lot of posts simply because they didn't conform to the Coffee House regulations or standards. Which was legit as there are standards for the Coffee House.
You banish threads to off topic because the op wanted to be lighthearted about it, that's not right this thred deserves to be in the polifical section because it asks political questions and demands political answers that alone deserves to be in the political section, by moving this thread without just cause you are breaking the rules you swore to protect (kind of) you ate no better then the other forums who delete threads because they disagree, you destroyed the question this thread asked by moving it.
