So I have been trying for 3 weeks to upload the same video, trouble is that the video often ends up on 2 gb, after I've compressed it, and takes up to 21 hours to upload. Now I've uploaded two videos previously, and I used the same program, and the same methods, but at that point my videos would take an hour at most to upload. So.. any help?
What programs are you using? What compressed format are you using? What's your internet's rated upload speed? What's an internet bandwidth test say is your actual upload speed? How large were the previous videos? Have you tried using the old uploader on YouTube? Have you tried a 3rd party uploader like "Free YouTube Uploader?"
I am using Fraps for recording and virtualdub for compressing. I use Xvid for compressing. I have tried everything. My previous videos were usually a few mb. The problem is the file size, I didn't change anything in that way. only teh file size changed.
How long is the video and what resolution are you rendering it in? Try using the free video editing software Lightworks to edit and render the video in a compressed format if you continue to have trouble, but there is no guarantee that you can get the file as small as the other videos.
