That is the formal Russian greeting that Stalin uses every time he starts a Let's play right? Hopefully a Russian comrade can help me out with my Russian here. So I'm relatively new here - I stumbled upon Stalin's let's plays years ago, when he was doing his Ottoman campaign for total war Empire. I think it was his second or third let's play. Then I forgot about him for a couple of years and just recently, when I was reading a wiki article on Trotsky, I remembered Stalin and said to myself 'What ever happened to that Stalin guy I used to watch that did let's play's? Turns out he started a whole new website with a bustling community. And got an awesome new haircut by the looks of things. Looks like some pretty interesting people on the forums from what I can tell so far. Can't wait to get to know you all.
Welcome to the forums sir. You need to know one thing and one thing only: VERMIN SUPREME IS THE SHIT!!!
Hello, welcome to the forums. You may have noticed the amount of yellow in my avatar. How nice of you.
Oh yes, most certainly. Not sure where to begin actually. There was a stage I was really into real time strategy gaming including Company of Heroes, Dawn of War 1 and 2, I played a good lot of the classics - Total Annihilation, Dark Reign and ofcourse Starcraft 1. I never really got into Starcraft 2 - It's really like a spectator sport to me - I watch it extensively but never really play myself. Ofcourse I also have my interests in FPS/RPGs genre - including fallout 3, Skyrim and Deus Ex. Half-life 1 and 2 have got to be among the best games I've ever played. As for mulitplayer, I play Left 4 Dead 2, TF2 and some good ol' counterstrike source. Probably the only notable MMO I've played is Eve Online - which I stopped playing about a year ago but I really want to get back into - I'm just afraid of the sheer amount of time I need to invest in it. However, the game that I'm most engrossed in at the moment is Portal 2 - especially it's community and map building feature. The feature really has opened up the game and given it an almost infinite amount of depth. It's interesting actually, It's one of the first games I've played that is essentially non-violent and at the same time engaging on more levels than most other games I've played.
I really have no idea, I'm like still learning a few words (saying hi and asking for names and that shit), but I'll note that down so I'll remember it later. =)
