Never said it was. Working towards financial gain is perfectly fine, so why should you guys all be butthurt that I said this is what many Americans do? Unless you're the one who thinks its evil, then its really not a problem. But is it really that much of a stretch to think that maybe people who will never have these opportunities in their lifetimes would be mad that some of this abundant money isn't used to help them out of their piss poor military controlled shitholes?

I certainly don't, although I can see why others would, especially when it at least seems like we make all our interventions for resources (ie. oil).

Never said it was, but it sure would be something we should do, and should continue doing, instead of thinking there is no one else in the world besides us.

I would say Europeans are an ethnic group, and that would mean discrimination against Europeans can indeed be called racism. See, I can argue semantics too, if you'd like.

I have never seen mustachio or any other European on this site claim to be more advanced or civilized than America. In some things, the Europeans have the upper hand on us, and on others, we have the upper hand on them. For instance, in science, the Europeans are much more advanced than us, and I believe in energy efficiency as well. But, in terms of economy and military, we clearly have the upper hand on them. I really don't see what's so hard in admitting your country isn't the best at absolutely everything it does, and this goes for both Europeans and Americans, as well as anyone else.

Do you really think that the US government would protect my "right" to engage it open armed rebellion against said governing body? I think the second amendment is necessary, but a few armed rifleman aren't going to do jack shit against the US government. Peaceful protest is what that part of the Constitution means, and I was under the impression we didn't need guns for that.

No, of course not, that wasn't what the 2nd Amendment was intended to do. It didn't give citizens permission for violent rebellion, but it did, however, provide the citizenry with a means of access to the weapons necessary to oppose a tyrannical government. It was a bold statement of assurance in the government they were crafting, that it would be so well designed that they would be comfortable with giving the people an ability that was denied in England for fear of rebellion. The arms that the Amendment provides are not to beat the US government, but to get the supposed rebellion off the ground. Supposedly, the idea was that the people could use those weapons to secure professional ones from government armories.
