As a first act in office as Chairman of the DDR, I herebye order the Ministry of Defense to begin recruitment drives to bolster the Nationale Volksarmee's ranks and commission the Ministry the use of a factory with which to produce East German-made AKM variants, so that the NVA no longer must rely on Soviet manufacturing. I will also be acquiring a large sum of T-55's for use by the NVA's armored divisions. Infantry, Armored, and Mechanized divisions shall be evenly distributed along several checkpoints that i shall update the Ministry on at a later date. The bolstering of the ranks of the NVA, the procuring of new hardware, and the development of weapons are the main goals of the Ministry of Defense now, and if Superpower status is to be reached, we will need the Nationale Volksarmee to back us up
