I was discussing Hoxhaism with a friend a while back actually. I pretty much just said that I figured there weren't any actual Hoxhaists any more outside the internet, and I jokingly compared them to mythical creatures.

My friend then replies, in a pitch perfect impression of Ulfric Stormcloak, "legends don't burn down villages." I was thoroughly amused.

In any case, all the communists on this site are crypto capitalists that must be purged for their bourgeois tendencies, since they do not follow the correct line of Marx-Engels-Lenin-Stalin-Hoxha revolutionary proletarian science.

When police use violence: Oh, there just defending the country!
When protestors use violence: BRUTAL THUGS!

I think if you look carefully, its the other way around, and I support black bloc.

Surely you know both these arguments have been around far too long for either to be the exact case.
Personally, I think this would've made a good episode of Hill Street Blues. That always looked like it was set in Chicago.

If you noticed, police only use violence after telling the protesters they will use violence about a million times, trying to get them off peacefully, and waiting a long time.

Protestors have no right to use violence, in any circumstance. The police do, and in the .0001% of cases where they don't, everyone jumps on them for it. As well they should, but I find little things more annoying than angsty teens whining about the "5-0" and "police brutality".
Then you deserve what you get. You want to support stupid, illegal bullshit? Then expect consequences: legal and physical, for it.

No one has a right to use violence, except in self defense. The police seem to use violence to get rid of nonviolent and violent protests alike.

If the protesters refuse to leave, after repeated warnings that what they are doing is illegal, and repeated warnings that force will be used if necessary, then they deserve whatever they get (as long as it isnt brutal of course)

My definition of brutal is any kind of use of force on a defenseless or nonviolent person.
