I'll be honest i know a lot of people who are racist against whites, i myself come from a semi racist family except my mom who broke the trend, but racism is a two way street it has to stop on both sides.

While racism is still present in American society, I believe that it has, at least openly, left the government and law of said society. Individuals are individual, so some are racists and some are not.

its ok to feel like a dirty red :) and alot of times race is used in two poor white and black communitys for example when hurricane Katrina hit New orleans many poor whites blamed many blacks who were in the same situation as them and what became scavenging for food for whotes became looting when a african american did it and yes i agree with the point on human nature

Yes, I think it is. There have been many a court case that seems to be divided by race. Allen Iverson's case, all whites for him being guilty, all blacks innocent. Same for Travon's killer, for O.J. Simpson, and for many more to come. Though, I am over-simplyifying a bit here, but you get the point. I think it's not a big a factor as it was 30 or 40 years ago, but I think it's still a big factor.

Don't feel like a big essay-thing, but in short, racism is still very much a big issue in today's society. Even if in most western countries, minorities are legally equal (Which they aren't in a lot of places, EG - Australia) they are still culturally persecuted. Ask the average working-class black/Muslim person this, and I'm sure they would agree.

Depends which society. Its more important in places much as the Middle East where some Governments are openly against Jews, etc. However places like the US tend to be more tolerant. That doesn't mean it isn't an issue in the US, but it isn't on the scale it is in those places.

But that doesn't necessarily mean racism is involved.

That doesn't mean everybody is intentionally giving blacks less money for the same jobs. Some yes, but the overwhelming majority? no.
