Can't you see that you are making the exact same mistake they did. They thought they understood how the world worked and what was possible and not. And then they were wrong. I'm not denying that the Universe is massive. I'm not saying that Star Wars is an inevitable product of humans and time. I'm just saying that blanket statements declaring things impossible tend to lead to an eventual revelation of ignorance.
You keep making the same argument of, "I want it to happen, so it might happen, no matter what". You're literally refusing to accept the real perspective that galactic travel, is inherently, beyond human.
