I never said that, I just said that's how you get elected. Hitler blamed the Jews, Ronald Regan blamed the Democrats, Lenin blamed the Capitalists, Obama will blame the Republicans. It's just how you get popular support, regardless of whether or not it's a good cause.

No McCain was not considered a maverick at all. His running mate was, but most saw him as an old establishment Republican.

Well yes she was a good person. I mean you can disagree with her politics, but she wasn't corrupt. The biggest stain on her record was TrooperGate & that happened just because she was to stupid to notice it going on.

Out of the options, I would choose one, because the economy is getting better. (even though I just heard something on the news last night about the DOW Jones going so low it wiped all its gains from 2012 away) anyway, I think the best option though would to do a little of all three. Hammer the idea that the economy is getting better and that foreign policy has been great under Obama, and just bash Romney every time he makes a mistake (for example going into Michigan and saying he didn't support the bailout). Compare him to Bush on foreign policy, as he seems to be gung ho about duking it out with Iran.

Yeah, but usually a campaign has one main subject it focuses. Romney is no doubt focusing in the economy. His only scenario as of now according to Elephant Watcher, called "Get America Working Again" would be for him to convince voters that the economy is not so great and that it will get better under him. If Obama attacks him on the economy, he must give intelligent and confident responses that will allow the voters to give him a chance.

So it sounds like Hitler, Reagan, and Lenin all focused on really one group of people, but you said:
    House of Represenatives
    Bush Administration
    Supreme Court
    Romney
    Wall Street Fat Cats

Definately option 1, because to quote a famous campaign slogan:
    "It's the economy stupid!"
