On one of my biology tests, there was a part of the test where you had to identify the individual cells of something, and I didn't study, so this one cell looked like a noodle, so I put noodle for it. And then one looked like a robot so I put Optimus Prime.

    TL,DR

Biology = Class of Noodles and Transformers, robots in disguise.

I think science is supposed to be cool and though provoking but all teachers do a shitty job teaching it. For example for bioligy i got a new first year teacher and all she does is cry and talk about how hard her life is and how bad all of us are. luckilly she split us into groups and I'm now god emperor of my little clan. We call ourselves the USSRP(united socialist scientists republic of pancakes) It has done rather well.... :)

The primary problem with psychology is that many conclusions (which they use in place of 'assumptions') are based solely on observations. It also has the problem that people tend to change how they react to some things over time.
Some people cite the studies into sleep as proof that psychology is legitimate, but others view that as the seperate and marginally more reliable science of neuroscience, which is seperate from psychology and based on hard evidence.
Some assert that psychology was necessary in a time when we didn't have the ability to conclusively prove something true. That it was guesswork to prove things and we no longer need it with the rise of fields such as neuroscience which prove things. In other words: that psychology is becoming obsolete.
Debatable, but I can see where you might reach that conclusion.
Unfortunately, it also has the effect of making social interactions very trying as well as making it so that the person with it may withdraw not only from human society (to a certain extent, depending on the severity), but also from things that are necessary like working.
I would have to see proof that they actually have sociopathy.
Whether it is a GOOD thing tends to be seperate from what is beneficial.
In this instance, it might make them able to be successful, but it also hinders their ability to interact with others, particularly those without the disorder and even moreso those who do have it.
Surrounding yourself with all the wealth and power in the world hasn't proven to bring any modicum of happiness.
The disorder also makes them capible (capible being... not so much likely to, but I think you know what I mean) of committing actions that the majority would consider extreme and unacceptable.
This holds some truth in my opinion.
Modern countries DO tend to have far too many medications to be believed necessary.
The argument that for the last 3800-3900+ years we got along perfectly well without needing to swallow our own weight in medication (if not more) every year brings to question whether we really need the medications.
Many have seemed to begin turning to bottles of pills for ever slight discomfort and THAT is discomforting.

As for the alphabet thing: LOL. I wouldn't be surprised if the claim was false... but sadly neither would I be surprised if the claim was true. Overstated parhaps, but nonetheless symthomatic of what overwhelmingly seems to grow truer and truer with every passing year.
Well, according to psychologists 1 in every 100 people have schizophrenia to some extent.
I think that what you find unbelievable is that way because that you think of the extreme cases and look around yourself and don't see it.
The assertion by psychologists include the mildest form of a disorder, so there may be some truth to their claim.

As for the goth kid thing:
Well, it isn't that he doesn't have a disorder, but more rather that the society jumps to medicating him almost immediately when it may not be necessary.
I will have to find the source for this one, but the same psychologists admit that teenagers tend to pass through a phase of their lives that include depression and thoughts of sucide. That is to say that for a period of time, it is completely normal to have it, even if it itself is not normal.
The problem occurs when they start handing out medications to combat what is a normal occurrence that most people get through without the need for medication and without even telling people about it.
