God save the Queen, she ain't no human being!
Just thought i'd raise the possiblity that those were the words you left out.
I like him nearly as much as I hate Winston Churchill.
Edit: Didn't see this before for some reason,
I think I prefer pre-war Mosley. The man whose legacy is the BNP (more-or-less) i'm not so keen on. But yeah, he advocated Keynesianism before it was cool, that's not all bad, right?

English politics was always fun to study in history class.

But people can follow who they want, you are trying to be a dictator who wants things from certain people. Its a free country! People choose the Queen, they choose the Queen.

He's not trying to impose his will on the British populace, he's just stating his disdain for monarchists and the royal family.

No, the queen is imposed upon them by the press. You really think that if it wasn't displayed on every street corner, on every passing bus, in the windows of every shop that they would still give the slightest fuck?

Funny, in England we don't study english politics that much!

In America we have to take a government class, why don't you study about it?

Because only sad-acts like me are interested in politics, and we seem to be more liberal than you 'America, fuck yeah!' maniacs. I bet y'all have to pledge allegiance in class and everything.

Well I never see any of the stuff you go on about, maybe it's rarer down south. I only hear about the royal family if they are doing something like going abroad, which then goes on the news. If anything I hear loads more about David Cameron and I, nor anyone else I know follows him blindly. Edit: The only thing we did that is in any way related to poltics or monarchy was William the Conquerer and how public health was effected by government views at the time.

We don't take compulsory government class because the Tories want to keep the people unawares so they can do all of their rich people stuff, like fox hunting and the Bullingdon Club, without any repercussion from the uneducated proles.

Because everything other than World War 2 doesn't matter.

Seriously though, I've never studied anything before 1900 in any serious detail in my education. Even in college, all that we have done is Britain 1906-1951 and Vietnam and America between 1961-1975. The British one caused infinite boredom, for one can only take so many social reforms and one struggles to remember the details of like 6 governments inside a decade.

If it's not a personal question, do you go to Xaverian?

Now, I will say, "Loreto is far superior to Xaverian", to provoke C_G into responding, which will lead to a further discussion to entertain all.
Loreto is far superior to Xaverian.
