I'm a vegan but I still say yes. Animals are less important than humans and I invite anyone to die of horrible diseases and conditions because they love animals sooo much they won't consume anything tested on them. It's bullshit.
Testing as in scientific research or make-up testing? For the former, I don't think there's a good alternative to animals yet, but when there is a good one, I see no reason to test things on animals.
I honestly have nothing against animal testing because it can provide results that befit mankind in the long run, then again I'm waiting for someone with high morals and ethics to take this thread and yell "Animal rights" and all that stuff those people at Peta keep preaching about.
No one at PETA has high ethics or morals. They're just militant vegans. Which make me ashamed that I'm a vegan in the first place.
I said no, because i really despise what some people is able to do to animals, just to test their new makeup ingredient.
So you'd rather experiment on humans? Children? How do you propose the FDA (or your country's version of such) secures the safety of millions? By testing on an animal with a brain not even remotely comparable to ours, who has no emotions, or your fellow man? Does that make you an animal lover or a sociopath, I'm not sure.
I say yes (really useful research, not make-up and shit), if there is a good alternative I think we should stop testing on animals but so far there is no alternative and I'm not sure if there ever will be.
Nope i didnt say that ,not even that, i dont really know where are you taking this assuptions from but i despise the people who tests on animals for make up products or to test WMD but i can understand the testing if it actually helps to cure diseases. In the end i voted no because it not a good thing to do ,i understand its necessary but its unethical, and i hope in the future animal testing will be replaced by something more ethical.
hahaha maybe, but i had to say my real opinion on the matter , its cruel and unethical and it should not exist but it saves lives so i'll close an eye on it.
I said no. However, obviously I can see it's an important way to save lives. I said no because I don't like many things about the way it's done today, I think more should be done to treat the animals well, and as Daddy said I think only important medical tests should be done on animals, not tests for cosmetics.
Says the guy who is one of two to choose said option. And its not so much stupid as meant to indicate that you either: 1) Don't have an opinion 2) Don't know enough to say 3) Just don't care It is an 'other than yes or no' option.
