So, I've got two videos that I'd like to show you guys, and get your opinions on. You all know that I am pro-DPRK, so my thoughts on the matter should be rather obvious. Also, I don't want to turn this into a big fight regarding MRN, so I'd prefer if we kept any bickering regarding him out of this thread.

Is it true that you're not allowed to be pro DPRK in South Korea? That is a major freedom of speech violation and here I was thinking South Korea is democratic. Could you provide some more reliable sources about these kinds of crackdowns on so much as liking the DPRK?

Also, is there some other sources about US soldiers going into North Korea?

I doubt there are much pro-North Koreans in South Korea, they hate DPRK's guts (save for 10% who don't think North Korea is a threat)
    http://news.yahoo.com/skorea-teens-flock-online-snitch-pro-north-posts-084050962--finance.html
"The agency uses the tips to investigate possible violations of South Korea's National Security Act which prohibits praising or glorifying North Korea — a crime punishable by up to seven years in prison. North and South Korea technically remain at war, having never signed a peace treaty after their 1950-53 conflict ended with a still uneasy truce."

I don't know the high importance of American and South Korean military parachuting into North Korea, the DPRK has always done stuff like that.

North Korea's only viable ally is China, and recently relations were strained over kidnappings of Chinese fishermen.

That's....absolutely one hundred percent hypocritical. The US and South Korea are ALWAYS talking about how the people in North Korea are brutally repressed, which is true, but then they turn around and arrest their citizens for daring to claim perhaps North Korea isn't that bad after all? Just...wow. I'm surprised more people don't care about this!
There is a difference between spying and putting armed military troops down inside a country's borders. One is a normal part of geopolitics, and pretty accepted, although people go very hard on any spys or saboteurs they catch. But putting your special forces inside a country to gather intelligence is not a normal thing, and an act of war. Although technically South Korea and North Korea are still at war, so this one is not so much of a big deal.
Thank you, I just wanted to be sure. MRN doesn't seem like the most reliable of sources, but it was true so now I can discuss how absolutely revolted I am at these events.

Well North Korea to built tunnels almost to Seoul for an invasion in the later 1900's, right under the DMZ.

It is probably doing more things as we speak.

Anyways, for the OP it is usually hard to NOT talk about the news source on this forum, no?

That doesn't make what the US and South Korea did right, or this right. However, this isn't illegal or undiplomatic, considering we are technically still at war. I don't think its something either side should go to war over. But the freedom of speech issues, I'm appalled at. At least in the US things aren't like this.

We suspended habeas corpus sometimes, and the U.S. signed a ceasefire but South and North are like mortal enemies until the end.

So consider that law similar to likewise in wartime, i would think. But that's what they would argue.

In a country like the US, even in wartime you are allowed to speak out and say that the enemy isn't all that bad. However, in South Korea, you will be arrested for that. So for all South Korea's propaganda against North Korea, they are more similar than they'd like.

I've been watching some MRN on occasion recently the Para's going into NK and spying, and I found out that the reporter originally interviewing the General misunderstood him, like IF I were to spy on North Korea I would send paras with limited equipment to spy on them.

Although stories will always be different given time sooo, I dunno. This would be a serious act of war is NK knew this.

Yea especially the recently shelling "accident" by the both of them, on that one island.

Imagine if Kim Jong Un just like turns into this deranged kid and throws the whole KPA across the DMZ.

I suppose we would win, but South Korea would be devastated.

And do what, wave their fist around? Launch a nuke? Scrape the rust off an old Russian tank and jump into the fray?

No, we'll just embargo them and stop imports from them, and get everything from India, etc.

Lol. China would not be stupid enough to back North Korea in a war against the US. China has no interest in a war with the US. The only reason they entered last time was because McCarthur wanted to invade them and they fealt threatened. They know at this point there is no threat of US invasion and everyone else hates North Korea, so it would make them look really bad if they back them.
    @Imperial1917 can explain better.

Fighting North Korea would be hard, just like the Japanese in WW2 but 9,000,000 of them in an area the size of half of California
