As I browse through various threads on here I am beginning to wonder about the origins of some of your guys' screen-names/handles. I'm unsure if a similar thread has been posted before as I have only been here less than two days so I apologize if it's a repeat.

I'll begin with mine, which is a combination of a nickname of Stalin (and coincidentally a personal nickname given to me as a child) and part of the name of my favorite fictional book character.

Well, that's simple enough :) I love the name Jack. It is a family name on my maternal side. My son's name is related to it as well.

Actually, my real name isn't Jack, but it's a nickname I've had for forever.

Is it close to your real name or just a random nickname?

Okay, okay. Since no one else seems to be in here, want to explain your avatar? It's too small on my computer to make out clearly.

Looks to me like the Papal Keys, the cross of the Teutonic order and the cross of the Knights of St. John. Was I right?

We've had this thread a few times, I think...we need to sticky one of these.

Anyway, my name was inspired by Star Wars: Battlefront, where all the droids were named "Unit", followed by four numbers. I replaced the numbers with my name, found out it looked ridiculous, and changed a letter to make it look somewhat presentable. Then, it stuck for many, many years.

As I've said more than once before, Chives was a crack addicted rabbit who lived on the back of my neck.
    I stole his name.

Long, long time ago I was creating Xbox live account and it was my terrible english at time or Deathtrap was taken that I chose my current nick name. Idea behind it was that when facing me in games you would experience a sudden death. Just, just don't question it ok?

EDIT: Oh and I have stuck with it, because it looks cool when spelled

EDIT: And to answer your question (What does it mean) I guess it means nothing, cuz it's broken English. ....or a trap that is d3ad?

I am into History especially classical mythology, I was reading a book about Roman mythology, and I came actoss the story of Romulus and Remus, me and my brother have always been competitors against eachother, so I joked about how one day I was going to challenge him to a duel, this was a long time ago, so we vowed to name ourselves after the Mythos of Rome, I am the first king of Rome, and my brother lies dead in on a hill, atleast that was the joke. It stuck and ever since then I call myself Romulus online. The 211 is my my birthdate, amd my avatar is Alberto Del Rio.
