The worst E3 so far, which means a lot considering the last one was terrible as well. I really expected some new console announcements. Consoles are becoming irrelevant if the next generation doesn't arrive soon. They're trying to attract the 'casual' crowd now with their kinect and party games nonsense, but they're scaring the actual gamers away. Very disappointing.
How was last year worse? At least they announced the ps vita back then which is really cool imo (although it needs more games). I consider it worse because we didn't hear any announcements about the next console generation. I expected them because the current generation can't compete with the pc anymore, the technology's just too old. Also where did you hear about them being released in 2014?
Though that is much more the case of last years conference, it still applies this year. I also loved how in every conference each one claim to have had "revolutionized" the way you play or interact with games. Idiots.
