There's nothing for anyone to see because the people involved have taken care of it. If I feel like talking about it, I will. Yeah. Some things got deleted without my permission. That's not what this was about initially. I'm not scared off. I'm handling my shit like a big girl. If there's anything I feel you need to be made aware of, Kali, you'll be the first to know. Sometimes I have such high expectations of you, then I remember you're just another teenage boy on a whole site of them. Grow up.
Man, I don't know nor do I particularly care about your personal disputes. I figured, what with the whole remark about dictators, that you were pissed at the staff overstepping their bounds. 'Round here, I like to stop that sort of thing, or at least let people know about it. Well, that, and I've got a reputation to uphold. Damn, I seem to be getting some kind of a rep on the internet. Everywhere I go, people talk about how my "reputation precedes me". I resent that completely true assertion. I don't think I'm being childish at all. Seems that you've just got a skewed perspective on the matter, and, well, I've already addressed that. See, that's the sort of thing I'm talking about. Maybe not for you, but then, as I said, I'm not that interested in your personal problems.
Then fuck off back to whatever corner you usually hide in. No one needs you to act on behalf of the people. Like my status said, going to the hospital now. I'll handle this later. Goodbye.
Well, I won't quote the above poster (at the time I'm starting this post, that's kobashenka) since they're intending to go AFK (presumably for some amount of time), but I will say this: if someone out there thinks I'm acting on your behalf, you're wrong. I have a vested personal interest in being able to post what I want, and to see my value structure form the basis of site policy. Now, clearly some people disagree with me, either because they don't like me or they legitimately find my value system unappealing, and I will oppose those people, but I don't argue directly for anyone's sake but my own. Of course I also happen to think that revoking draconian speech restrictions is in the best interests of the community at large, but that's ancillary.
I have to agree with Kali. We could care less about the personal stuff, that is all you. But when it comes to stuff being deleted, that is the stuff people on the forums are concerned about. I won't have some badass long post like him, but I will say that when it comes to posts being deleted for no reason, then that is concerning.
If the staff is deleting something, then it's for a public reason. If users delete their own posts, that's a private reason.
Well its my understanding that while it is of general concern that something has been deleted, the staff is busy with the original problem at the moment & we aren't at the top of their priority list.
The "problem" here is not one that would ever merit the deletion of a post by the staff. It's clearly a personal dispute, not any violation of the rules.
What staff are you guys talking about? Only the inactive ones have been on today. Come to think of it, I haven't seen Chelsea in forever.
While that may be true, it's not like regular users can magic posts away. That's not the part that we need to care about. The fact that something was deleted without cause is what matters.
