I was thinking about assisted suicide and euthanasia this week. Hospice kept coming up in my mid as an alternative to doctor assisted death. I would like the option of assisted suicide, but would like to have high quality hospice care as well to prevent me or others to choose the only available option. Post your thoughts and opinions. Edit: I was extremely tired when I wrote this.
As long as people wouldn't be forced into hospice then that would be great. Otherwise there's no point spending money on people who want to die when it could be better spent on people who desperately want to live.
Okey, is this because Romney is a fucktard and said, We Dutchies were murdering Cripples and Cancer patients, and that these people feared for their lives? Because thats retarded. You can easily have both, just like we have in The Netherlands. But if the question is hypothetical, and poses the question wich would you prefer, i would say the hospices, because frankly you don't need a doctor to commit suicide, you can do that yourself.
So everyone who are sent to a Hospis are dying or close to death? Hospis also works as a Rehabilitation service.
Hospice was comforting for me when my dad was about to die, even if it probably didn't help him much (he was in a coma). But assisted suicide is perfectly fine too.
That was Santorum. And I'd definitely pick euthanasia. And fucking hell Kali is right, that was one hell of a necropost. Seriously, the last post was on my 18th birthday, and I'm 19 now. Fuck.
I thought that the necro-post rule held only for posting in an old and inactive thread when the new post in question has nothing to do with the thread topic. Or so you told me.
@RonaldRaygun I love the consistency of the font in that picture. EDIT: Also, how did he even find this thread, it was on page 17 of all places.
