I'm looking for some Alt History stories in the internet, do you know any good ones?, it doesn't have to be historically plausible it can be something as ridiculous as Canadians using bear cavalry during the war of 1812

The Man in the High Castle. If you want something chillingly real as opposed to alternate history for alternate history's sake, that is.

Well for the internet there's this site called Alternate History Discussion Board where there is a shit ton of timelines on almost every subject of alternate history. Some I recommend is Decades of Darkness and Napoleon's Victory.

For books I recommend almost anything by Harry Turtledove, specifically his Timeline-191 series and Worldwar series. Other books would be ones by Peter G. Tsouras.

I'm only halfway done with the first book of Timeline-191 "How Few Remain" and just started reading "Guns of the South", I love the way Turtledove portray characters from the past; that a man born in the 19th century can be just as smart as a man born in the 21st century

Harry Turtledove does a great job of turning historical figures into characters in a story; giving them personalities, quirks, flaws, and eccentricities. He also does a competent job of making sure the scenarios are actually plausible even with the premise of time travelers giving the Confederates AK-47s
