I have a suspicion that the person who named it wrote dirty stories in their free time.

KGB's operation to remove Armin (Leader of Afghanistan) prior to sending troops into country is questionable and similar to that is CIA's countless murder attempts on Fidel Castro (638 attempts)

I mean even if your chances are 1 in 100, that's still 6 times they should have succeeded.

Maybe they were fat assassins and on the way to Fidels place there was McDonalds sitting around? Failure statistics are tracked by Happy meal sales tablet.

@slydessertfox, Fidel is just the hardest man to kill on the planet. It's not that they suck, it's that he's basically a terminator with the luck of 30 leprechauns.

I'm a big fan of the Mossad, which is probably one of the best intelligence agencies in the world, except for one particular incident.
    I'll just leave this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mossad#Alleged_operations
Edit: When I say I'm a big fan it's just that I think they're badasses.

After 638 attempts to kill Castro, the CIA just threw a banana peal in front of him. Castro slipped and broke his neck, sadly for the CIA he survived and continue to live another 30 years even though he is like what 85 or 86.

Even what happens in the actual mission sounds like some sort of porno. Esperanza Gomez would, of course, play the prostitute who would lure men into the secret lab. It takes place in LA, a Hispanic prostitute would make the most sense, she didn't want to do this, she was content with her job as a hotel maid, but after the government found out about how she entered the country illegally they forced her into this in exchange for her US citizenship and the possibility of a free college. Some toughs in the lab would strap these men into the chair, these would be played by various male porn stars (I would mention the names but I don't think anyone here knows or cares who they are). Afterwords a seductive doctor would come in, played by Veronica Avluv. I always felt Veronica has a 1950s pin up look, which I loved about her. It's somewhat of a classic beauty.

The point of these experiments is to (you probably guessed it) create the the perfect sexual subject. Esperanza would have sex with the men after the experiment while Avluv would take notes. The first test subject dies shortly after he is done with Esperanza, the second one suffers from a mental breakdown where he grabs a scalpel, breaks out of the lab and runs naked through the city into the sewers where he presumably lives among the rats for the rest of his life. The third man however, played by Ron Jeremy, suffers no noticeable side-effects and a threesome happens ass Avluv can no longer control herself. The CIA chief comes in shortly after this, reprimanding Avluv and shutting down the project. Each are moved far away from each other and forced under penalty of death to never speak of Operation MIdnight Climaz ever.

Apparently Mr Amin was trying to call the Soviets for help at the same time they were attacking his palace. I find this very funny.

Oh, so you didn't mean Operation Storm-333 to remove Hafzullah Amin? I was sure he was the guy who thought the soviets were on his side to the end. I guess not then, maybe it was just some kind of rumour.

Well I never knew that....that's very interesting. But, I guess we didn't know how credible those warnings were or what the target was. I also like that Mossad is still to this day hunting for former Nazis.
