    Basic & Marching Commands

Where you see the word in all capitals is when you execute the command, the words preceding it are the preparatory commands telling you what to do, and the capital word tells you to do it.

Fall in- all people form a column on the flag in line battles or the commander of practice

    Left, FACE- Formation turns left

    Right, FACE- Formation turns right

    About, FACE- Formation turns around

Right, FLANK- You will catch up to the person in front of you and turn right

Left, FLANK- You will catch up to the person in front of you and turn left

Company, HALT- You keep running/walking until you catch up with the person in front of you and then stop

Company, Double TIME- the formation will run

Company, Forward MARCH- You will hit “shift” and walk

Company, Spread OUT- The formation leader halts, the second person in line goes to the left, the third to the right, the fourth goes to the left, and so forth. You will run all the way to the commander and count for 5 seconds (aka 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, or one thousand one, one thousand two) after the last person in formation whatever side your on. For example:

You are the 8th person in line. You have to go the left of the formation. You will run all the way till you hit the back of the commander, THEN turn left and run all the way till the last person on the left, then you keep going counting for the 5 seconds to reach your spot. You will then make small movements so you are on line with the Commander of the formation.

Company, KNEEL- Go to the kneeling position

    Firing and Melee Commands

These commands are the same as the first one with the capital words being the one where you actually do what the command is telling you. The first few words are telling you what to do. If the commander gives the fire order before you are ready, do not worry about it, just hold your fire until the next fire order.

Take aim, AIM- Put the reticule on the target

Present arms, PRESENT- hold down left mouse button

Prepare to fire, FIRE- Shoot the gun

Present when ready- this command just means that after you shoot, present your guns again after reloading so the commander can figure out when most of us are ready to fire.

Cancel fire, CANCEL- right click and don't shoot

Company prepare to charge, CHARGE- prepare to charge means hit x and change your gun to melee mode, and when the command charge (the capitalized charge) is given actually charge

Left and right flank are real US military drills, but I took the liberty of changing them to benefit the regiment.

    Added in:
    Face [direction], spread [direction].

    Example: "Face right, spread right"
If in skirmish formation, turn right, then start moving to the back of the last person in line. From there, move to the tight in spread formation.
