Is it possible for us to have one debate on the forums about religion that does not result in insult spewing? I think I am gonna try and test this out.

Well, this one already started out terribly from the first post, so yeah. I like to think I'm not being a total cunt about it.

Well cmon, you're saying we should have been reasonable about some guy with goofy looking glasses trying to tell us about the chicken and the egg?
Link us to it when you're done.

In answer to his question, it's the egg. What laid the egg was not a chicken, but a dinosaur of some kind. Quite possibly a Raptor. Witchcraft, mutation and a long time happens and you get the chicken.

I agree. I also believe someone made a video on that as a response to this video.

    EDIT: There you go:

I was thinking about the chicken and the egg thing. Aren't they actually the same thing? The egg (it comes first) is also a chicken.

This really is one of those questions you need to think about but not to much.

The egg itself isn't a chicken. It contains something that will eventually grow into a chicken.

It has the same genetic code. It changes shape but at it's core it's the same thing.

I wouldn't say that. Then again, I'm not a biologist, so I wouldn't really know.

The genetic code is determined at conception. Once this has happened a chicken creates a calcium shell and lays an egg.
