Besides more then likely once elected the communist party will just be a more leftist version of social democracy instead of any true sort of communism.

Communism could be elected in to power if the society has been engraved with socialist ideals, such as say... The United States of America in relation to capitalism. The US has never had a major Socialist movement that took control of any of the Houses of Congress, as Capitalism is as american as apple pie and blatant stupidity.

Americans don't exactly have good stereotypes throughout the world. Hell, even in pro-american countries, people are generally quite cold towards Americans. The stereotype is generally that you guys are ignorant, stupid, rude, oil loving war-mongerers. Hell, there is a common game throughout pretty much every country in the world, which is called 'Take the piss out of the American', which basically involves lying to, and just being dicks to American tourists.

You brought up the whole 'Eurotrash' thing, so I figured it would be worth bringing it up. I don't honestly believe those stereotypes though. I've found that people have the capacity to be equally as ignorant and stupid in every country.

Yes I am an American who was attempting to fulfill the role of the anti-america american. But I actual only hate the Republican party. Not as people, but I despise their political platform.

I was not trying to be sarcastic, I really feel that if Communism was the seed that planted America, we would have a socialist party as powerful as the SPD of the great republic of Germany.

You know, it's hard for an ideology that didn't exist yet to be the driving force behind the founding of a new nation.

Communism didn't exist yet, but there were times in American history where it could have taken hold. If the Confederates had won the Civil War, at the turn of the century, right after the Russian Revolution, and maybe even during the Great Depression. After that, there was no significant chance for it to take hold.
