Not sure what you mean by this... You say you enjoyed an expansion pack to a sequel, but then criticize another title that we know nothing about by virtue of the fact it's not new?
i hope they expand on how the blood pack dlc for shogun 2 was apparently made it rated m if u had it so if it has blood like shogun 2 it ll be rated m as well with out a doubt. (and have u seen a castle in shogun 2 after a siege its messed up especially in fall of the samurai if u call in naval bombardment)
That is what I want it to look like. I want every step across the land to be of fear. I want my enemies to only dare whisper my name in secret. I want to destroy every farm, village, city, inn it doesn't matter I want to destroy everything.
im sure even in napoleon and empire etc you could destroy farm house and and town buildings anyway (at least with artillery u could)
You don't understand. I want my name to be feared throughout the Known world. I want to destroy everything, depopulate entire nations, burn entire cities to the ground, slaughter entire populations. The likes of which won't be seen until the Mongols.
That only works until a certain point, after which you discover you have no manpower left and get invaded by a bunch of barbarians.
I hope it actually has more depth than a puddle, mod support and not brain dead AI this time around. That being said it looks quite promising.
The fact that navy and ground forces are finally merged is awesome, can't wait till release of press demo
I wonder how that'll work, though. I don't think you'll see it that often, except in maybe the Punic wars, or if for some reason fleets can sail up rivers.
Well, yeah, of course, but with said battles, how would it affect anything? For cities, the ships can blockade the port, and maybe attack some troops, but in the coastal battles, having navies and armies fight alongside each other doesn't seem to be very beneficial to me.
Well you have combat ships that can fire down hell on enemy from the sea (archers) and thus naval superiority is vital. They also have troop ships, so you can land companies of fighting men with these ships to fight in a ground battles. Not only do you increase your numbers that way, but you can also flank enemy in battle or open gates to the city with them.
Wait, do they have actual transports that you can use in battle now? In that case, it's going to be very interesting.
