Tyre welcomes any help against the pirates, as they impede the prosperity of all of our states. Oh, and Tyre sends 450 vessels, led by our most experienced admiral, and accompanied by 6000 men.
Wait, this guy has almost a thousand ships?! Godmod. Tyre, you have 450 ships?! Do you guys know how much 450 ships is?!
Sparta greatly appreciates the aid. We swear to send 1,500 Spartans to Carthage for your own use ounce the war is over in Crete. We believe that Crete should be cut in half the West belonging to Sparta, the East Carthage.
Poznan is curious about this pirate problem, and because Sparta helped us with are slave problem (now Serfs) we will send an army of 2,000 to deal with the pirates, and to take notes on naval warfare.
Carthage sends 120 ships to destroy the pirated fleet with a invasion force of 4000 men and 60 war elephants.
Poznan would also like to announce it will buy any captured pirate ship and crewman, as well as any ship from the navies of Greece. For a fair price naturally.
Jesus christ Anwrise, 60 war elephants? And 120 ships?! ROME had 700 ships at the VERY HEIGHT of it's power. Seriously guys, this is just blatant godmodding.
Guys, remember to be realistic! Each ship has a crew of 180-200, do you realize. 300 ships is 60000 men!
I agree with sky. What the fuck!? How do you get so many ships in just 2 years! Godmodding to an extreme @General Mosh I am seriously just facepalming.
They're not Godmoding, they're just blatantly risking everything they own to fight pirates for no reason at all. Sacrifice them to the Blood God. Oh just fucking great. So while the worst thing happening to everyone else is a volcano that kills like 2,000 people (suck it up you pussies), I have to fight an army a fourth the size of my population right on the outlook. Ok, here's my battle strategy: Operation Human Shield The slaves which were supposed to work on farms will instead be given spears and shit and sent to fight the Barbarians. Let's say there's around 6,000 of them for shits and giggles. Their job is to act as a human shield and distract the barbarians while my more experienced riders go around the barbarians and to encircle the barbarians and shoot arrows and shit. Given it's most of my army let's say there's around 7,000 riders. This plan can not possibly fail.
Unless you're entire populace dedicated itself to shipbuilding and sailing, this isn't reasonable. You're going to have to account for sailors, and the fact that it takes a while to make a ship. Redoing the League list of armies until we get numbers we can all decide on.
Well...historically accurate this is RP is not.And maybe you need to use your to cope with our idiocy. Also maybe the ships are smaller in size than a warship in ye olde classical era.
